I graduated from Bradford University with a BSc Hons in Physiotherapy in 1998 and since then have worked full time at Leeds Teaching Hospitals Trust as a Chartered Physiotherapist. In 2006 I completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Manual Therapy and gained membership to the exclusive Manipulation Association of Chartered Physiotherapists.
I specialise in the treatment and rehabilitation of complex spinal problems and work closely with the spinal surgeons in Leeds. Exercise has always been a huge part of my life and work, and I danced as a child for many years.
I discovered Zumba in April 2010 and quickly became addicted to the fun dances and catchy music. Anne quickly recruited me as a team member and encouraged me to train as an instructor. So I qualified to teach Zumba in September 2010 and before I knew what was happening I was running my own class with help from the superb Zumba team. I also qualified to teach Zumba Gold in 2011. I love teaching Zumba and get a real kick from seeing everyone enjoying themselves and getting fit at the same time.
